What's Up With Wendy Airs Thursdays 11:00 am - Noon
WENDY BIO Wendy Lowy Sloane started her career warming up audiences for Phil Donahue and was quickly hired as a Producer for the Geraldo Rivera Show. She made nationwide news for her in-depth shows featuring the tragic death of child beauty queen Jon-Benet Ramsey. Wendy also worked on the Trial of the Century, otherwise known as the OJ Simpson case. Wendy produced Geraldos weekly Celebrity News shows, which were a Hallmark of his daytime show. Moving on with her career, Wendy landed a key job in radio, and was hired to be the Executive/on-air Producer for BIG 105 with Danny Bonaduce. No stranger to the celebrity inside, Wendy thrives on seeking out the scoop on the biggest stories and is in her element interviewing some of Hollywoods biggest stars. is a single mother of two beautiful children and is very involved in her
community, spending her time volunteering for several charities. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION What's Up with Wendy is a weekly celebrity radio show that gives you the inside look at what's new, what's hot, and what's happening from Rodeo Drive to Greenwich Avenue. Each week the show features celebrity interviews and a hot Hollywood reporter with all the happenings in the entertainment industry. What's Up with Wendy also features segments on what's hot with hair, what's hot with fashion and what's hot in general from Los Angeles to New York to Fairfield County. Some of Wendy's guests include Academy Award nominee Taraji Henson, Geraldo Rivera, John Stamos, Rona Mitra, Judge Marilyn Milian, Celebrity Trainer to the stars Gunner Peterson, US Open winner Tracy Austin, SOAP stars Kristin Rogers and James Scott, and Jill Zarin from the Real Housewives of New York. Another important aspect of What's Up with Wendy is spotlighting local events and bringing attention and publicity to worthy causes. For example, guest Lee Woodruff spoke about her husband, ABC reporter Bob Woodruff and his ReMind Foundation. Wendy also interviewed Jennifer and Steve Czech, the founders of The Mikey Czech Foundation for Pediatric Brain Tumor Research.
